The story involves dancer Eun Ho-jeong, wife of the unfaithful Yeong-jak, mother to a seven-year-old son and her family (husband's old parents). The couples no longer have a normal sex life. Yeong-jak, the husband in his 30s, is a perfect husband except that he cannot give pleasure to his wife. Each of them finds a way out of their unsatisfying sex life. Yeong-jak has an affair with a very young girl while Ho-jeong secretly meets a teenage neighbor. The two share an intimate friendship despite their age difference. When Ji-un's father discovers their relationship, he threatens to tell her husband. Meanwhile, her father-in-law dies and her mother-in-law quickly starts up another relationship.
A poignant perspective on the relations between sex and the family. Unlike many other movies that describe extramarital affairs as an immoral or vain matter, "Baramnan gajok" blatantly ridicules the morality forced on a family, throwing a question to true morality and happiness in family.
